Fresh turkey breast from yesterdays harvest. My son who was with me insisted we eat some of it right away. So I wrapped one piece in bacon and the other piece of the breast I stuffed with cream cheese and jalapeños and wrapped it in bacon as well. My boys crushed the plain one.....and insist on going out more to try and tag out. fc66637dd8aa3fd98444bc1af2b25402.jpg

New twist last night to the pizza game. Had some extra doughs from the weekend so made Stromboli (sundried tomatoes -mozzarella & meat and provolone) and some cast iron pies.
Stromboli came great - caste iron was ok-not exactly the “deep dish” feel we wanted

Tacks, how does it taste with the Franks in the milk? I did deep fried turkey strips a few weeks ago,  I dip them in flour, then egg, then panko breadcrumbs, then fry. Shake them in franks and butter (medium/hot) they were delicious!

I had a cook when I had a restaurant that soaked his chicken in buttermilk, Franks, and cayenne, plus some other stuff he would never let anyone see.  He had awesome Fried Chicken!!

I'm going to try this on the next turkey.
