It was labeled  “2020 front shoulder roast”… so it was something from the front end of my big buck from last year.  I slow cooked a buncha stew meat for a Super Bowl app (you’ll see it tomorrow) and threw this in too. Tons of onion, garlic, Mateo’s salsa, and water.   I simmered for 4 hours then pulled it and it was awesome.

I like zero a lot but they menu hasn’t changed in forever.


Tietel brothers is awesome. Funny how the best Italian deli and Italian specialty food distributor is owned by a Austrian Jewish family.

El bandito middletown-ny. Twenty years of going, still the same guys working, still the same great food and the wife and I ran into some old friends tonight. 

Tequila and sangria might help me out tonight when it comes to the old lady.
