Vacations are for eating and drinking. Daughter did excellent in her 2 ballet solos and group for Youth American Grand Prix.

Omlets with a stuffing of sauteed, yellow peppers, onion, portabella,dried tomato, asparagus lentils. Turkey sausage,left over mashed potato patties. Herbal tea.

Ha , room service had 3 egg omelette with 1 side of meat for $27 + 30% surcharge + 15% tax plus gratuity. No thanks lol. That's like a $45 omelette ! I wanted to fill out the room service menu cards that you hang on your room door on other people's doors . Doh

My wife really hit it out of the park tonight for Valentines day.  She made my favorite venison dish - lazy style stuffed cabbage.  Man did that ever taste good with a Genny Bock to wash it down.  She also pickled (4) deer hearts to make my favorite Valentines day appetizer. 

The smoked Lakers look good.  I hope the ice is good this weekend up in zone 6C.  I manged to get one up there last year at that time, thru about a foot of ice on a jigging Rap tipped with a minnow head.

Late last couple nights at work has been more like famine. Sunday I cooked up another rack of ribs though. This time it was baby backs. Had to plow and other stuff. Couldn't babysit it. So used propane side to maintain temp. tossed in box of soaked hickory and apple wood chips for some smoke.
