goosifer
Food in Italy has been surprisingly plain, to the point of being bland at times. They like to enjoy the natural flavors of the fresh food. They also don't use butter in cooking or as a condiment. It's all EVOO. We're in Sorrento now, which caters to English tourists, and thankfully I've been getting butter in restaurants.

I haven't seen it in my fridge in many many years. I do get buttered bagel out sometimes tho. Fletch
Yea we don't use much butter either. I hate going to a "fine" steak house and they finish it with butter! Gross, I want to taste the fricking $60 steak I bought not slimy butter. Butter belongs on popcorn and English muffins.
cas
I'm eating near a stick a day. Doing that no sugar, very low carb, butter on near everything... thing. I'm putting a venison roast in the pressure cooker tonight... but I might be bad and add just a touch of BBQ sauce. Apparently her and daughter liked them as i came home to one. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Birdhunter
Trying to clean out the freezer for the upcoming seasons. Grilled, bacon wrapped pheasant strips brushed with bourbon maple syrup at the end. Sides were oven roasted sweet potato and sauteed spinach. The wife and I have had pheasant, duck, venison (twice) and goose breast this past week...love it!
