What's for dinner tonight?

Best neck roast I have ever had .  3.5 yr old 9-point, aged 9 days hanging hide-on in our insulated garage and vacuum-sealed prior to freezing.

A frozen roast was placed in a programmable crockpot with potatoes and onions and a Ruby Red Kolsch this morning.  8 hours on low then “keep warm” for 2 hours.

The best part is, that buck made two of those roasts, so we get to do this again.  Plus there is leftovers from the first one for lunch at work tomorrow and more for another “special” meal later this week.

Last night got back from Maine. Had a trio of lobster rolls two nights ago in Maine. Plain roll light on the mayo, one smothered in bisque, and a southwest sauced one with bacon and avacado.

Yesterday's lunch was a fried scallop basket.

Then last night brought back some maine steamers and we had dinner with my parents.

Your an awesome salesperson for Blackstone. Wish I had more people to cook for, it would give me an excuse to buy one.

Fish looks great

Looks great John! How much did that shrimp cost you per pound? Seafood prices are getting out of hand by me.

I don't know and that's probably a good thing.  My wife got them.

He convinced my wife to buy me one for Father’s. He did it without ever speaking with her

How do you like the three burner? Seems like a bunch of space. Easy to transport?

3 burner is great can cook up a bunch of food. More then enough space to cook up food for a family of six. Doesn't get moved at all, but should be able to move around relatively easily on the 4 wheels it has.
