That's a decent deal. I want a 30-06 and I'm trying to decide between savage and ruger

I have always done better in big box stores by stumbling onto the in store deals that aren't advertised. Guns marked down, tree stands, ect. I don't even glance at the add's any more.

That's all I ever do at the big boxes especially during the off season. What are they slashing prices on to make room. Only time I shop during the season when nothing is on sale is if I need something immediately and can't buy online. Trying to buy most of my stuff when the season ends saves a lot of money.

Didn't mean to offend anyone in particular.  Other than my sister-in-law, who doesn't hunt, and isn't quite 375lbs, but is still definitely a lard butt.  Took her along on vacation with us a couple weeks back, and the only time she gets off her tuff is when it's time to go to the table to eat.  She can make it to the food in world record time.  Otherwise, she won't move her fat a$$ if you paid her.

LOL a failure to read the add properly is some how Gander Mountains fault???  You all know the game yet the only thing seen is the GREAT price.  Cabela's isn't any different.
