airedale
Way to go Charlie, congratulations. I went out and poked around in the rain this morning, saw three Deer, One Squirrel and two Turkey hens, no Toms were seen or gobbling heard. Wore the new Frogg Togg suit and it kept me dry. mpavlus
Pouring rain when i got to the farm. Didn't want to get out of the truck. No gobbles from the roost so started sneaking and peaking. Heard a distant gobble and moved closer. Set my lone hen decoy out and called. He heard me and was coming. Turned out to be 4 two year old birds. Came right to me. First one that stands still was going to get it. And he did. Wasn't the big boys on the farm but I'll take a two year old every time. Very excellent hunt. Plenty of time to hunt for big boy.

blackbeltbill
Took a 14lb Jake this morning. A Gobbler was coming to the Yelps from my Uncle Dickie Box. A Hen flies down and takes him away. Next- 2 Jakes are coming in to that Box. They start walking in the Wetlands and,I drop the lead Jake.
Shoots100
Three of my buddies connected in Delaware county and my handicapped friend came real close Monday AM, but the weather screwed us up big time. Going to be taking him out again this weekend for another try, as the weather is supposed to be beautiful and the word Quit isn't in his vocabulary. Good luck to all.

First-light
Tomorrow morning looks to be real good. Ill be in the edge of the woods with two Hen decoys in the field. After sunrise what do you guys recommend with what call I start with? Or should I wait to hear a gobbler first. Its been a while would love to hear from you guys. I use a mouth call. DirtTime
Had some gobbling earlier. Another hunter came through and it's been quiet since. Giving it another 30 minutes or so then tapping out if it's still quiet.
