Egads! So 2023 Marks my 50th year of Pheasant  Hunting since my start in 1974.

 I know- Bill only Hunts Turkeys- LOL!

  9 Year old ABBEY is ready to hit the Pheasant Fields once again this coming October 1st.

This will be my 50th deer season. I hope it will be special in some way? Regardless on if I  decide to kill a deer or not. I've lost count of the number of deer killed. So that no longer is what defines a season for me.

Exactly. I stopped counting deer, turkey and pheasant kills. I try to fill my freezers with the best meat I can and enjoy my hunts to the best of my ability. I am still counting bears though. Till I get up over 10. Lol.

i had a very late start so will be very lucky if I make it to my 50th yr hunting. Only 21 seasons so far and in 29 yrs maybe not around. Who knows...
