Quite the Light Show This AM

Pretty good blow went through this part of the state this morning, about as much lightning as I have ever seen, Power has been out since 4Am. The upstate map still shows a slew of outages so it will probably be a while before power is restored, the old generator is earning her keep.

That system came out of Canada and crossed Lake Ontario.  The sky looked threatening, here at 2:30. It was still 80 degrees out, which fueled it.   Though someone was getting a pretty good storm. We missed it by about 20 miles to our northeast. I read where possible tornado in it. We had the high wind gusts from the outflow boundaries here in Niagara.

I got up about 3am and watched for about an hour.  Told my wife the next day that I have never seen lightning like that before in my 60 years.

Finally got my power back on last night, there are still many with no power, this was a big time mess.
