landtracdeerhunter
So heading out Sunday afternoon, for a combine scouting session and hunt, the mosquitoes were hungry for the attack. The thirteen inches of rain we got since mid July sure hatched out a great crop. The two seventy see through ground blind was the only choice. They don't pentrate through it. I don't like ground blinds, as a rule due to the restricted visibility in them. This one, I can tolerate. The corner door is a little tight getting through. I gotta say, it's built well though. I can't remember a fall hunting season with'em so bad. They come out of the mowed grass by the hundreds. Deer moved when it cooled down. Tails just a flinching.

Have no interest at all fighting those blood suckers just to pop a doe that can be popped about any day of the week. Will wait to do the forced killing. I can’t imagine how bad it has to be in the woods.
landtracdeerhunter
Enjoyed the last sit of early doe with a couple close range shots on one year olds. We passed on"em, great encounter though. Mosquitos not near as bad this time. Colder weather have them backed way off. I'm a little more sold on those 270 ground blinds now. I picked up another for $55. The 360 dont have the black rear and complaints that animals can see movement in them under right light conditions. Got a great spot where I encountered this guy last season. Edited September 23 by landtracdeerhunter
