Update: Just received an offer for $135k from a qualified buyer (20% down, low debt ratio, good credit scores, etc.), but I'm holding out for more. Will see what he comes back with.

Got the potential buyer up to $145k! not bad so far for less than 1 week.

Unless you are expecting offers OVER your listing price I'd say you better jump on a $145K deal.  And if you are expecting an offer over the listing price I'd think your realtor messed up and didn't list high enough.

 

5K under that asking price would be a done deal...............from my view in the cheap seats.

 

 

 

So when is the backyard BBQ and pool party?  I'd love to see that end of the state, your new digs and meet you and the lucky lady but I WILL need time to get in shape to go swimming with my shirt off....................................

I accepted the $145k offer, but until the contract is finalized others can see the place.

Considering I'm getting married in June, the first pool party will either be MDW or July 4th depends on when we get furniture etc. unfortunately, my fiancé loves Ethan Allen and that stuff takes 10-12 weeks to make and I don't want to order till we know our closing sate
