Congrats on your new toy, Willis..

I KNEW you'd have to buy one..hehehehehehe...

How does the bore look?

I assume that you have to have the proper clips for the rifle to operate is a repeater ?

A 200 grain bullet at 2300-2400 fps is nothing to sneeze at..That will handle any non-dangerous game as long as the accuracy is there.

Just came back from the shop. Picked up another box

Of hornady ammo. Had them look for a bullet supplyer

Of .329 dia. Bullets came up O.

He has a drawer full of the clips. I won't run out of them.

The bore looks really good.

The dies are on order. But won't be much good

With out tips.

Carry On.

One thing I am curious about is why my stock

Has # stamped on bought sides different #'s.

It has the big S stamped on top of the barrel

And that I be leave was done when they converted

Some rifles over to 8/56. ?.maybe when it was in different

Arsenal s they restamped the stock.?.

These old rifle's are fun to try and figure out.

Found another great site on this rifle.

The big S stamp means it was reworked post

1930. So I got a new one. I thought it looked kinda

Shine E. HE HE.

And I think it said mine was a Bulgarian and the stocks

Were renumbered on bought sides with different

No.s the new number under the old no. Some times

3 sets of numbers. That's mine.two on one side one

On the other.

That's all the shots it took to site it in. The holes I coveted

Are the first shots , it was bore sited at the gun shop

Then I fired from 25 yds. It was high right then I kept

Truning it down and left.got it close then moved the

Target out to 50 yd. Still shot right moved it over.

Then moved the Target out to our 75 yd. Witch is

Really 78 yds. Fired the last two rounds in the 10.

So now I got a backup to my backup deer rifle.
