State land pics

I know there has been some discussion lately about how far to go in the woods on state land.

This camera location is almost exactly 1/2 mile into the woods, in between two roads.

I seen 23 deer from this stand last year opening day of regular season, most deer pushed to me from other hunters. It was the most I have ever seen on state land in one day. The location is on a creek bottom, open pines on one side and hard woods on other side of the creek.

I have never bow hunted this area, but looking forward to it this year.

Ricky, I won't ask for the exact location, but which state park is this? You're right by me and I'm going to be on state land. I was thinking lake shore marsh because it's close by. Are you going south to a different WMA or is this state land like letchworth?

My Bear Agenda 6 bow can handle any Chup's out there lol.

Core, I hunt about 45 miles South of Letchworth , if this is within your travel means feel free to send me a p.m. and I can tell you coordinates of the woods I hunt.

29 Days away until opening day, cant wait ! I have about 50 pictures of the 7 pointer during the month of August, first time I ever found a hangout spot for a specific buck. Normally I am lucky to get a 2nd picture of a buck in this area.
