Rapala Fillet Glove.........Sweet!

I've had one for a few years for cleaning fish but just tried it this year for deer.  It goes on my left hand as I wield the knife with my right hand.  It works great for keeping a good grip on the meat and avoiding a sliced hand or digit.

 

Might be a good stocking stuffer for a loved one.....................

Never crossed my mind to use those gloves! Every time I cut up meat, I cut myself at least once! Always keep a box of bandaids handy!

Lawd, you taught me to cut up my deer and you never mentioned these gloves! I cut myself at least once every time I cut up a deer. I need to check these out, I have a doe to cut up tonight!

 The worst part about these gloves, is trying to clean them up after you're done processing the  deer.   I seem to have bits and pieces in bedded into the fabric,  but it has definitely saved me from a lot of cuts.

Funny thing, I never used it this year.  It would have saved me from a nasty cut I even posted on here about. Dumb azz.....
