What do you guys pay for brisket? Man the prices are ridiculous here. My buddy in Georgia said he just paid $2.43 a pound!! I wish!!

That looks super!! Did the cheese stay in or melt out?

Melted out only a little.  It was wrapped pretty tight.  I didn't overdo the cheese either.  next time maybe ill put in a little more,

I get a couple when I buy half a cow.  So by the pound I don't know for individual cuts.

Never pulled a chicken before. Might have to give that a try.

Nice try but I'm not saying it

Briskets take a long time. Good call on the All Day IPA as you are abiding by the "smoking rule". If the smokers going ,beer in hand.

I've been meaning to try that.  Ever put a hardboiled egg in the smoker?  I haven't but I want to try that too.

do you use raw almonds? Just curious as i have some left over almonds that have gotten stale and i was thinking of trying to bring them back to life. In the past i just spread them on a cookie sheet and placed them in the oven, worked ok. The smoker idea sounds good.

Hunt when I can.. ;)

Wrapped in foil and towels resting in the cooler for a couple. Will update with pics when sliced.

I put it on at 11pm so figure midnight due to DST. It hit a hard stall around 6, I shoulda Texas Crutched it earlier but went back to bed. So it took a bit longer. The temp probe slid in like butter when I pulled em. I'm excited and waiting now'
