I'm switching to BH209 from Pyrodex powder. Is 90 PP equal to 90 BH on PP measure tube. BH says Charge Volume. Can Someone help me with converting. I know weights are different vs volume but Looking for a 90 grain shot of BH.Thanks

Blackhorn 209 is used at the same volume as your Pyrodex.

The site has sample loads, the velocities will be higher for a given volume of Blackhorn but I believe the pressures will be the same.

So, if you load 90 grains of BH by volume (same volume as your Pyrodex) you will get a higher velocity and a flatter trajectory.  You should recheck your sight in, it will probably be different.

Just my experience.

Ants, I ran out of bullets lol. I'm going to pick more up this weekend, want to move that group right for sure. I'd like to keep it a bit high. Man this CVA did not like the 70g BH209, bumped up to 90g what a difference. My knight with #11 is not as picky.
