How long does it take for ammo to go bad ?

As long as its dry and stored at an appropriate temp, then it can out last you. People are still firing rounds that were loaded in ww2. That's a little extreme, but people regularly shoot surplus ammo that's 40 years old. I dont know of any "experation date" as long as its still in good shape.

Yea that's what I thought I have stuff left from my grandfather the boxes have turned yellow there so old easy 30 plus years old and it still  shoots every time  I used it .
