Red on primer.

Has anyone seen this before. There is some red stuff on the primer of a couple of left over bullets. Is it just rust or something. Want to use them as these bullets are expensive.

Yes.  Different manufactures use different primer setting product.  Fire away.  They're fine.

Federal use to put that color sealer on the 44 mags I use to buy....all is good, fire at will.

Federal likes that sealer. I actually like to see that because I know the primer is sealed

Yes that is fine it is the sealer on the primer... most mil surplus 30-06 will have that
