You bet you won't forget that hunt! Congratulations!

My first deer was a few years back (or more) and I didn't own a camera ( forget cell phones, we had just gotten rid of the party line) but the hunt is clear in my mind as if it were this season. Still have and hunt with that Ted Williams 12 gauge from Sears. 

It is especially great for you to be able to share it with your dad.
