That fluke is a neat looking fish. Dumb question. Do you filet them ? That's gotta be a weird procedure if so being so flat

Real easy actually. What you do is find the back bone and run your knife down it from the head all the way to the tail. Then you just fillet on each side of the fish till you get 4 loins off each fluke. Probably one of the radiate fish to fillet. I'll post some steps if I can actually get my hands on a keeper

When we were kids, we fished Springwater Creek.   Fish that size went into the front pocket of our Levis.  :)

No ringers yet for my set up though I do see some running them. I bottom bounce a simple four rod (sometimes 5) until I just can't anymore.
