Two reported tornado "hits" south of Buffalo....

.... in area of Hamburg and Holland. Any of you folks from that area? Hoping none of you were effected!!! Pretty rare to have tornados touch down in NYS. Only saving grace is they tend to be super concentrated and not long lived, only if you weren't in its' direct path.

I was in Hamburg during the storm yesterday , we all got a text message on our phone about the warning ,a few of us went outside to check out the weather and the sky was doing some really crazy stuff ,clouds were moving in all different directions .

My folks are soon to be 91 and 93  Talked to Mom in the morning and she said they were probably headed to the Hamburg casino to play slots. Told her a storm was coming and probably not a good idea I had NO idea that kind of storm was coming. They were smart to actually listen to their son I now realize.

I am in Lakeview and missed my neighborhood by a good 10 miles....man what a mess that dam thing made....the cleanup looked like a real pain in the ass. Glad no one was hurt and we all have a few stories to tell.

Was at my place with my brother in Howard. He left to go back to Cortland around 2 and got caught in a hell of a storm. Had a 55 mph sign fly past his van. Everyone ok.
