The New York Times proves it's a Communist rag.

Watch video clips from any of the MSM coverage of that mayhem. How many hammer & sickle flags are shown in those videos? There were almost none. I watched and re-watched a lot of them to verify and it was completely ignored by CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, NBC... I was being generous about "people not saying a peep" about the Communist flags. The fact is the media completely ignored it so that people wouldn't ever see it and have the opportunity to say anything about it. That's how it works.

And it wouldn't do any good to link to any story you will immediately discount as a "Papist type source", whatever that is. I'm guessing it's any 'source' or opinion that runs contrary to your worldview, but I'm generalizing.

Zero proof then. Got it.

Like most of your ilk, no points have been made and no proof provided just moving goal posts and fake news like the OP.

So here is a link to the actual "essay" in the The Opinion Pages

https://www.nytimes.com/2017/08/07/opinion/lenin-environment-siberia.html?smid=tw-nytopinion&smtyp=cur

Not quite the hit piece you made it out to be by any means. Here is the author/environmentalist. http://www.strebeigh.com/

I kinda feel like you posted a fake news piece.

You miss the entire point of the post.  Your protests lead me to believe you do not think Communism is bad.  Why not tell us your political opinion rather than attacking those here who understand how bad Communism is?

From the article in the OP:

The article, titled “Lenin’s Eco-Warriors,” paints the man as some kind of Siberian John Muir, and incredibly concludes that leaving “landscapes on this planet where humans do not tread” was the Soviet dictator’s “legacy.”

As absurd as that piece was, the Times managed to outdo itself with another article on, no joke, “Why Women Had Better Sex Under Socialism.”

This piece is an idealized account of how life under an absolutist government could be liberating and possibly a better model for the feminist movement.

The author wrote:

Those comrades’ insistence on government intervention may seem heavy-handed to our postmodern sensibilities, but sometimes necessary social change—which soon comes to be seen as the natural order of things—needs an emancipation proclamation from above.

The absurdly romanticized account of life under tyrannical government explains little of the hopelessness of a system where an individual has no hope and no future.

There is no 'proof' required. Watching/reading (and paying attention to) something other than than the controlled Leftist news outlets would have shown you the severe bias in how the event was covered and presented to the public. You've chosen to be ignorant of the bias. I can't help you with that.

If by "moving goal posts" you mean working hard to help prevent Socialism/Communism from destroying our country, I'll plead guilty to that every day. If that's not what you meant please explain what other "goal" is involved.

No proof required, hmm I think not. Proof is most definitely required other wise you are just making things up and it is faux outrage.

Just remember there were fine people on both sides.

You continue to reference that article that in turn references another in the opinion section yet it is clear you did not read the opinion to see that it wasn't what it was made out to be. I think the only one of us that is missing anything is you.

Bravo for trying to insinuate that I might be a communist, its always best to try and attack someone when you don't agree with them. I am in fact a real living breathing Republican, unlike many who claim to be yet exhibit leftist beliefs. I am not very happy with my party at the moment. It is like a headless snake.

Remember, this is not about race. This is about creating chaos. This is about using divisive “issues” (basically, badly constructed straw men) to drive wedges between artificially identified “segments” of society.

Divide and conquer. It’s about the revolution. Can’t bring about the revolution while people still have a cohesive society. Must have chaos to bring it down.

Then the “revolution” can install whatever totalitarian regime they have in mind.

If you zero in on this “race” thing, you’ve already been had.

Keep your eyes clear. Realize that all the sound and fury you’re hearing and seeing is cover for the rending of society.

Reject them. The merchants of chaos haven’t had a new idea in a hundred years. They’re gonna call you names. It doesn’t matter. Give them nothing to hold onto. Oh, and discover their crimes. There are always crimes. Shine bright lights on their crimes.

They believe their “time has come.” I believe they’re two generations too early.

Reject the chaos. Create your own certainty and serenity. Give them nothing.

what news source would you classify as non bias?

They're all at least somewhat biased in their own ways. The only way to counter that bias is by being aware of it so that it doesn't completely override your judgement, and the best way to do that is to get information from a wide variety of sources.

I agree and this is what I do as well.

George Lukacs, one of the chief brains behind the cultural Marxist revolution that has gripped this nation (Pat Buchanan thinks they have won) was quite explicit about the role and purpose of the Frankfurt school as being about the total destruction of Western Civilization in order to make way for the Marxist Utopia:

Quote

When he became Deputy Commissar for Culture in the Bolshevik Bela Kun regime in Hungary in 1919, Lukacs launched what became known as “Cultural Terrorism.” As part of this terrorism he instituted a radical sex education program in Hungarian schools. Hungarian children were instructed in free love, sexual intercourse, the archaic nature of middle-class family codes, the out-datedness of monogamy, and the irrelevance of religion, which deprives man of all pleasures. Women, too, were called to rebel against the sexual mores of the time. Lukacs’s campaign of “Cultural Terrorism” was a precursor to what Political Correctness would later bring to American schools.

Quote

the Critical Theorists of the Frankfurt School recognized that traditional beliefs and the existing social structure would have to be destroyed and then replaced. The patriarchal social structure would be replaced with matriarchy; the belief that men and women are different and properly have different roles would be replaced with androgyny; and the belief that heterosexuality is normal would be replaced with the belief that homosexuality is “normal.”
As a grand scheme intended to deny the intrinsic worth of white, heterosexual males, the Critical Theorists of the Frankfurt School opened the door to the racial and sexual antagonisms of the Trotskyites.

Leon Trotsky believed that oppressed blacks could be the vanguard of a communist revolution in North America. He denounced white workers who were prejudiced against blacks and instructed them to unite with the blacks in revolution. Trotsky’s ideas were adopted by many of the student leaders of the 1960s counterculture movement, who attempted to elevate the black revolutionaries to positions of leadership in their movement.

The student revolutionaries were also strongly influenced by the ideas of Herbert Marcuse, another member of the Frankfurt School. Marcuse preached the “Great Refusal,” a rejection of all basic Western concepts, sexual liberation and the merits of feminist and black revolutions. His primary thesis was that university students, ghetto blacks, the alienated, the asocial, and the Third World could take the place of the proletariat in the Communist revolution. In his book, An Essay on Liberation, Marcuse proclaimed his goals of a radical transvaluation of values; the relaxation of taboos, cultural subversion; Critical Theory; and a linguistic rebellion that would amount to a methodical reversal of meaning.

As for racial conflict, Marcuse wrote that white men are guilty and that blacks are the most natural force of rebellion.

Go back and read my post again.  I stated it appears you do not think Communism is bad. Never said you were one.  You could be of any political persuasion, but if you think Communism isn't bad, I'd like to hear why.  That's not an attack, it's a request for dialog.

And I am not saying these losers aren't out there, I am saying if the were there at the march in VA the media would have covered that too. After all it would serve them well to show the divisions in the country so that they could blame that on Trump too.

CNN would continuously harp on the right-wing losers, while FOX news would harp on the left-wing losers.  That's how it usually works.

The Antifa movement has its roots in the German Communist Party of the 1930s. It was a movement against the Nazi regime of Adolf Hitler. The communists and the Nazis have been fighting one another for over 100 years. That’s a curious thing to a lot of people. Then mainstream media portray it as a fight been far right and far left but that’s not accurate. Nazis are socialists. In fact, Nazi is short for the National Socialist German Workers Party. So why are factions that appear to be similar in philosophy at each other’s throats?

That’s the interesting point that so many people miss. Let me explain it. Both the Nazis and the communist want complete domination over you. They want to control what you say, what you read, even what you think. They are literally fighting over who is going to control the masses. When you look at it that way you understand why they’re constantly at war. They are two of the few groups on the planet who want total control over people. Most of the rest of us just want to be left alone. They’re both fighting over you and me, over control.

This is why the communists were fighting the Nazis in World War II. This is why the communists were fighting the Nazis in Greensboro in 1979. This is why the communists were fighting the Nazis in Charlottesville in 2017. And they’ve gotten quite clever, these communists. They no longer call themselves communists. They’ve reverted to their 1932 German roots as “anti-fascists.” Again, who can be against the folks who are against the fascists? It’s brilliant, actually. So much so that they’ve recruited a whole new slate of useful idiots from governors to senators to mayors. And the mainstream media are clearly in their camp. Some completely complicit. Some useful idiots. Some just plain idiots.

Antifa+then+and+now.jpeg
Antifa in 1932 and Antifa now
Take a look at their two symbols. The communist Antifa movement of 1932 Germany and the Antifa movement of today. They are the same thing. Why? Because they are the same people.

THIS WAS TAKEN FROM A WEBSITE SO I CANNOT ATTEST THAT IT IS TOTALLY TRUE, BUT IT IS AN INTRESTING READ .

It is a well know fact the Antifa members have often displayed the commie flags they are seen holding in the above photo.  I have no doubt there were some in Charlottesville as well.

Flags or not, they support Communism and some people in America support them.  What's that tell you?  Perhaps Sen. McCarthy was right after all.
