New to the area

Just bought a house in Patterson ny 

dont kno the area that well or hunting spots in the area can anyone point me in the right direction or even team up if you hunt in zones in this area.... thanks for the help

I'm not familiar with the layout of state land in that part of the state, but if you look at Google maps you can get a good overview of the public land in your area.  Not all of it may be open to hunting, but you can check the DEC website for more information on that.  Also, ADK's aren't too far from where you are.

Lots of DEP properties and parks to hunt. Opening day of gun is crowded. I live in North Salem and hunt 3n and 3s. Good luck.

If you bow hunt check out NImham preserve.  Some good spots to hunt in the area, this is just one location I have hunted.
