My wind changed 180 degrees over night. Did yours do the same?

True!   the wind was still good this morn there and he sat til 11 and saw nothing.  I had deer on every side of me both days.  He is now 100 yards on the other side of the same trail due to the west wind change.  But true that wind change might be the cause.  Although he has seen one deer in range all season.  Dunno why, he says he does scent control etc.... he's just unlucky......?

Well first want to know if anyone shot a deer with a crossbow on Lapp rd or Wolcottsville rd today or last night. Had this little guy come hobbled through and was suffering. I put one through the heart to end his misery. Pulled a small arrow out of his back in picture. Just cause ya hunt with a crossbow doesn’t mean you shouldn’t practice. Feel bad I had to waste my tag but wasn’t going to leave to suffer. Called DEC they didn’t give a crap.

@Biz-R-OWorld - can you type with those gloves? They hold up? Ones I bought crapped out halfway through their first season.

So called DEC again they said had I waited for an available officer while I stood there with the deer still alive instead of me putting an arrow threw it. And wait for them to walk a mile back in shin high water so they can put a bullet in it they would have given me another tag. Oh well I got meat and doe tags and shotgun season for an actual hunt.

i would be in -  if my tree stand was higher....... cause if i have to listen to that i am gonna throw myself onto the doe to make it stop! lol

It's gets better as you age, like fine wine.   Very calming for the deer too.   I have all the animals at the base of my tree dancing like some cartoon

I need to start drinking more of this fine wine right away.  My usual domestic beer or two doesnt have these effects.  Havent seen any dancing at the base of the tree... maybe some squirrel porn here and there....but no dancing.

Some dip wad was wandering around in the field and nearby with a cross bow and smoking cigarellos. He was within 50 yards of me and I hollared loud to the guy .he never flinched or responded . After a while I used the grunt call when he had his back to me and no response .
I should have taken a phone picture when he was close . I did take some on my regular camera .

Just got into my stand 20 min ago. Walked up on a doe and her fawn in the local grazing station. First deer I have seen in a week. I sit in my stand sun up to sun down faithfully and that's the first movement. I'm in 8F. As I'm typing this o had a nice 8 in that same field. About 100yrd out. Tried to give him a rattle he did not like that at all! Took off complete different direction. Bummer. At least they are on their feet
