I discovered he has hole through the top of his snout through the roof of his mouth . No signs of it while the skin was still on. I first noticed the roof of the mouth was shattered ,now that it's boiling ,I can see the sinus bones are broken as well.

The doe that I shot was a spike. Took 2 and a half hours to find him. Going after the atv. I hope I don't get it stuck
My phone clock was off by 1 hour. I think it is okay now .

That’s compression and vacuum of a 50 cal. It’ll do that you know. Don’t even need to hit the deer

What do you mean by “shattered”? The sinus should be many small bones. Usually I end up having to glue them all back together.

Just took the drug smugglers route around town and adjoining. Pumpkins everywhere! You guys outta get some deer shoved at you. Sadly I had too many chores to run so I’m not out.

Shot another doe this morning. She’s another nice adult; dressed out at 138lbs, my second heaviest ever.

14 degrees this morning in 8H. Thought for sure there would be a good deal of movement, but not near me....

Afternoon sit is 35 and sunny. Not expecting much movement but then again, what do I know?

Just took another doe. Perfect shot but it didn't bleed one drop on the snow. I Only found hair and tracks. She only went 60 yards and piled up

First time hunting my farm in over a month. Don't usually shoot does but there has been a doe not using her front leg since early MZ hoping she comes in the swamp for an acorn and a does of copper poisoning. Just started snowing here.

Didn't see a deer today. It's like they magically disappeared. Oh well still enjoyed the woods. Not one drop of snow out my way
