DirtTime
Anyone on here use Wasp broadheads? I still have a 6-pack of old Hi-Tech XLL 125's I bought around 1991, or close there of. I think these are now the Hammers, similar design. Wondering if anyone has used the Sharpshooter cut-on-contact broadheads in 100gr, and how they performed? grampy
I used the Wasp broadheads back around 91 and loved them. Used 100gr though. Killed a bunch of deer with them.

I was almost 6 inches low. But, I am getting off topic... I see people talking about "knock-off's", and the brands the TV shows use, so I was just curious if people still use Wasp ( you don't hear about them much anymore ), and in particular, one specific broadhead. Looking for info on the Sharpshooter in 100gr.
Marion
I only use the 100gr wasp boss broadheads. I swear by them! All my deer are slayed with them. Many falling within 30 yardsSent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

growalot
Have don't recall the .model.in 100 grain..They shot well but as I recall penetration wasn't great but did the job. Thunder heads or Cabela equivalent and G5 now.

stubborn1VT
Been using Jak-Hammers 15 years. Simple design. Rugged. Fly like my field points. Made in the U.S.A. Never let me down. Only time I didn't get a pass through was when I hit the far shoulder and turned into marbles.
Doc
Wasp is still in business: https://www.wasparchery.com/
Marion
I have yet to not have a complete passthrough with them. That said I also shoot 70lbs so those with lower poundage I cannot speak forSent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
growalot
Ya mine is lower poundage...why I switched...like I said flew well and still got the job done...
stubborn1VT
They make the Jak-hammer in inch and an eighth. I shot those with heavy arrows at low speed and got pass throughs. Now I'm shooting the inch and three quarter. Rocket is another company that makes reliable broadheads.
