Leftover DMP's are available Wednesday Nov 1st reminder

Just a reminder to those that the extras are up for grabs .

Do they just randomly pick, and send them to the hunters. Or will you need to request them? I know once, I was sent a very hard to get 4-H DMP, after I was denied when I purchased my licence.  I did the grampy happy dance, after opening that envelope!

You need to go to a retailer and purchase them.

Pretty sure you have to go and request them   I go before work every year as also believe they're first come first serve. Not sure what happens with folks with lifetime licenses

They actually say usually Nov, 1st, but in the past have been available that day. All licencees, life included, must go online or visit a licence seller and pick from what's available. There are limited amounts so if one runs out it is available until close that day. The next day it is not available.

Actually free if you purchased the first round   Will have to pay this round if you didn't the first time around

I will grab 2 more, but the way this year is shaping up, not sure they will be used.  Seeing much fewer deer in general.  Who knows, maybe the season will make a hard turn around.  Or maybe I used too many DMPs in the past.  lol

I know the areas you hunt, there is no such thing as too many..lol

Already have 30 hours in stands.  Not bad considering this horrible heat.  Then again, we have both killed the same number of deer this season.

Applications for leftover DMPs will be accepted for the following WMUs: 1C, 3M, 3R, 3S (bowhunting-only), 7F, 7H, 7J, 8A, 8C (bowhunting-only), 8F, 8G, 8H, 8J, 8N, 8R, 9A, 9F, and 9G.

Don't know as I need the extra tags if I can't fill the ones I already have . It is my understanding that the tags are good from Nov 1 thru the end of deer season .

I don't need more, but man, it sure seems like it's the same WMU's that get the leftovers every year. Couple downstate, and the rest are mainly CNY and WNY.

I needed the extra tags last year . I shot 2 doe during gun season and two more during ML season .

I'll probably get another for 9f, although I don't think I'll need it as I haven't filled any yet!

No need to rush like that if you don't want to. When it opens they are available that entire day and not a fist come first serve. at the end of the day they modify the listing based on how many given out for the next day.

I was able to fill two extra 9Fs late last year, good times!
