Anyone ever seen coyotes in a mock scrape?

So I made a mock scrape the other day. I used the Wildlife Research dripper as well as some Smokeys pre-orbital scent I created the mock scrape at about 11am on Saturday and by 8pm that night I had a descent buck show up. The buck make his own scrape next to mine. Now the strange part is at about 2am two coyotes came by and the one coyote actually rolled around and put his shoulder down in my mock scrape. Kinda strange. Never seen that before.
Anyone have any thoughts or insight?

Yep, i see coyotes, doe, raccoons etc... in my scrapes. Most animals are curious by nature and will take a sniff. Dogs in general love to roll around to leave their scemt.

I've had coyotes and fox rolling in my mock scrapes, made with my own "scent".

Ok. Just new to me. Never seen that before. Thought it was a cool video to share as well. That buck is a ghost too. I have caught him only at night on cameras. Smart fella.

Maybe that coyote is trying a little "cover scent", so he can sneak up on deer a little easier?
