crfingnutz
Just curious what everyone plans on using opening day. Any thought about thinks 69 or some other estrus scent scaring of other does?
Robhuntandfish
I don't use anything for opening of gun. Use it for bow hunting. Opener of gun usually just out and kinda hope all the extra hunters out push deer to me. But don't think any of the scents will scare off any deer. Wouldn't think it would hurt to use it at all
silent death
Don't know I used a grunt call the other night and had a doe at 50 yards her reaction was priceless you would of thought someone through a grenade she was running and looking everywhere lol
ApexerER
I ordered some love potion from Nelson Creek outdoors. I never used it before but I saw an add for it on here I believe. Anyway it has a top that you can drip just a little bit out. So on my way in to my stand last weekend every ten steps I dripped some, then when I got to my stand I put a scent wick out......I had a lone doe come through and as soon as she got to my trail she started blowing like crazy. She must have done it 20 times....Never ran and was looking the opposite direction from me. Sure wasn't the reaction I was looking for.... Four Season Whitetail's
If you are going to use scent you will do much better using fresh local scents from Ny processors.
Borngeechee
I used buck bomb doe in estrus and had a buck sniffing along the scent trail and got within 30 yards of me without knowing I was there. Unfortunately I was too excited and too anxious and missed the shot.Sent from my SM-G920T using Tapatalk
