East Otto state forest

Here's a small write up about today,

It was my first time ever on state land so didn't know what to expect, I had a new Hunter with me as well.

The state land itself I actually like alot, lots of ridges small and large, some thick pine areas, lots of hardwoods, etc

The parking was very easy and there's a road that runs through almost the entire 1300 plus acres, almost through the middle, offering plenty of spots to park.

We only ran into two other Hunter's and saw lots of deer sign although not tons of fresh sign. Saw those three I mentioned but we're also only out for a few hours. Overall I'd like to go back for another walk on some more of the land to check it out more, maybe even during muzzleloader.
