Didn't posts with just pics

I'll start it

08 ranger 700 6x6. Stole it. $1300 put another $200 in it for voltage regulator and battery. Love it

That'll be my next investment, I think I'm going with a Mule though instead of the Ranger.

Ment to hit the OP's quote not yours, chas.

You should be ashamed of yourself. How do you sleep at night?

I'll give you $1500 to take it off your hands and clear your conscience.

Because I care... :drinks:

Ok. I hit the wrong quote button.

Here's one for ya. I traded my blue four wins 17.5 foot open bow for this 25 foot sportcraft.

Both boats had electric riggers

Did have to include my fish hawk tho

I keep attributing my lack of deer sightings and kills t9 have used up all my luck on this trade...season ends tomorrow and I have still not killed a deer lol....first time in 8 plus years

Awesome rig and deal on sxs

I don't feel bad when someone won't work on their own equipment or are to cheap to take it in and have it fixed. I don't get lucky very often. But when Lady Luck smiles on me at least she does it right

I just traded a $400 marlin 30-30 for this polaris 700. Its a guy i used to work with. Sled runs good, shocks just rebuilt. It has a electrical issue with the headlight and tail light. Easy money if i wanted to flip it. But i think ill enjoy it if we get snow again.

I rode one of those once. Ended up with 32 stitches in my mouth after my buddy said when we get to where the field opens up go as fast as you want. I did but he forgot to tell me that it didn't open up where I thought because the creek bank was covered with 6' of snow. Windshield went up under my face cover on the helmet I was wearing. Didn't even know until we were headed in and my face unthawed a little and the blood just started flowing.

Mule is a good machine several people around here have them. This was right place right time. And I've wanted one since hunting out of one in Wyoming.

Yeah my FIL bought a mule and the hauling ability is what I want it for. The ranger is nice but the bed is a little small, I need something to haul firewood in and out of the woods. I'm thinking about one of those dumping trailers but full of firewood it would just push my 4 wheeler around. I want to get to the point where I buck the logs and split right there in the woods leaving the mess there and not in my driveway.

My ranger has a 1250lb payload capacity and the bed dumps. Idk if the sxs still comes with that or not. I too am using it for firewood, hunting, screwing off as we have a Bryan outdoor wood furnace and it likes wood. 2-3 cords a month. Can get back where I can't go with a pickup. And it leaves a light foot print.

Looks like a good trade. Id be looking for a more correct trailer for the new boat though, that baby is wayyyyyy too long for that trailer.

Your bunks should extend to and support the transom. There is alot of weight back there between the engine and outdrive. It is just a matter of time before the hull is damaged from sitting on and being towed on that trailer.

Personally I prefer bunk trailers to roller trailers, as theres less to go wrong with them and they spread the load out over a larger surface. Might just be personal preference, but Ive seen what roller trailers do to hulls over time.

So you got me looking at it. I went out and measured from transom to last roller (I hope to go to bunks when I can) is 21 inches (I think pic makes it look alot worse) what should it be? Last thing I want is damage.

How much tongue weight is there? With a boat that big you should have around 300lbs. (10% of the weight you're towing)

Bunks are definitely the way to go, no pressure points on the hull from the bunks compared to rollers. Not only that way easier and cheaper to maintain.
