The first pic is dead bark falling off a dead tree. Not a rub. Still not sure the second pic is a rub, but it's possible.

 

Your second post on this thread has me intrigued. That pic is recent? Bucks are still making scrapes and rubbing? Isn't this the time when they are dropping their antlers or have dropped them?

The first pictures were stuck in the quote box .I could not delete it. The other picture was fresh . We got some snow Thursday into Friday so I am going over to check the scrape I found near that rub and see if it is cleaned out .first my daughter has an eye appointment .so will go out later

Deer rub in the post rut and make scrapes year round.

Some scrapes say open all year there like a firehidegrin to dogs.Like treeguy said the doe will come into estrus every 28 days until she's bred.There's a post on here from last week of breeding going on.
