He's a good looking dog
Thanks! My other Golden (his uncle) who we unfortunately had to put down week before Thanksgiving 2016 was far better looking. He was lighter colored and stronger. Charlie for as goofy as he is has excellent posing posture. If only he had the looks of Hunter he'd be a great showdog. Though I think he's far too goofy to do that. Definitely always good for a laugh when you need one most

My parents got our first golden when I was probably 13 or so. They have had them ever since and I have had two as well. Every single one of them is different and has a different personality. Trying to think, we had Cinnamon, Ginger, Nutmeg, Mollie, Baxter and now my Parents have Chloe. I have had Zimba who passed 3 years ago and now I have Milo. So I have been close to 8 different Goldens and everyone is different. My boy Zimba was the smartest of the bunch but no where near the best looking dog. I don't know how he did it because I never really trained him. He was just always at my side, I even brought him to work everyday. Maybe because he was used to seeing so many people at my work he would only give the people in his "pack" the time of day. Otherwise you were a bother and forget other dogs....he would rip their throat out if he could. Milo is a big goof and has been hard to train but he is loveable and thinks he is the ultimate lap dog. Stays out of trouble for the most part but doesn't listen very well. Chloe is tough on my parents especially at their age.....She is the roughest golden I have seen, has jaws like bear trap and is just wild. My parents have had her at several different classes etc...She is the most challenging golden I have ever seen. She can't catch or fetch to save her life and hates the water. Not sure she is really a golden...lol  Mollie was the Frisbee queen...She could catch a Frisbee like those dogs you see at halftime shows and chase it for hours, no interest in a tennis ball at all...just the Frisbee....She was a sweet girl that would just put a smile on your face. Baxter was a big lazy oaf......Never seen a golden with less energy....he weighed like 100 lbs and acted more like as St Bernard then a golden. He was a beautiful dog.....Nutmeg, Ginger and Cinnamon were all what you would think of as a golden but all a little different. All loveable, loyal and fairly well behaved but Ginger had anxiety issues and if you were not home when there was a thunderstorm she would destroy my parents house. I remember she tore up the kitchen floor, chewed a hole in the wall and dug up the carpet in numerous places. Good thing my parents lover her, I think I would have killed her.....

Um ... dumb ass. That’s a cat !!

Maybe by law it is. But he is treated and trained like a dog. He waits at the garage door for me. We watch football together, drink together, etc. he is a rare long haired Scottish fold with folded ears. A thoroughbred with great bloodlines. I probably paid the same as a dog, so again he’s a dog to me! Lol

Cats=lame

I usually watch the dog show because I know folks who’s dogs go but not this year.

The sire of my two pups has been a few times.

I thought the same thing about cats for about 30 years until I did my research and got the most dog-like cats I could find. Best part is I never have to walk them and my house doesn’t smell bad like a dog.

I actually don’t mind cats I just don’t want to own another one. Around here they control the small animal population and one of them hangs out in my barn. I’m cool with that one.
