Worst Employment Ever Held

What was the worst employment you've ever held and why?

Mine was as an "transportation specialist" for the radiology department at a local hospital for a winter. I wore a blue smock and had to transport patients from all over the hospital and emergency room to radiology and drop them off, cold and shivering, in the hallway, only to return them hours later to their room.

The boss was a freaking witch and I worked every weekend and holiday on the schedule even though we were suppose to "rotate". I was part time with no benefits and worked over 40 hours weekly. It sucked !!!!!

one summer in between college I worked at a factory on the third shift taking rubber bands off spoons....... for hours........piecework...yeah.  And the lady next to me was making double my pay and i was putting out double the work she did. I was working 54 hours a week doing this , the kid that worked next to me got hired on the same day fell asleep on the way home and died.  I quit!

well i bet your ears were ringing cause I did a lot of late night cussing because of you! lol

I actually never understood why they had a machine that put them on and an idiot to take them off!  Now in my wisdom I realize that for $6.00 an hour it was cheaper to have my dumb ass do it!  lol

Worked in a slaughterhouse for beef and pork.  It stunk bad in the summer, never did get used to it.  Was low man, so got all the crap jobs.  But I did learn how to cut meat!  And still use that skill today!

I spent one summer as a teenager sealing driveways for some guy. That job did not have anything good about it. Start early, get covered in tar and sealer and bake your ass off all day every day. Haul tar, spread tar and clean tar and smell tar and taste tar and dream tar lol.........

I made pens. The machines were a foot operated press of sorts. If you were to quick with your foot,or too slow removing your fingers after putting whatever piece on there, you got some sore fingers.   That and I would get wicked Charlie horses every night from pushing that dam petal a couple hundred dozen times a day.

2nd was in a cabnet shop. You weren't allowed to talk to your coworker. The theory was talking would slow you down and production would suffer.  Lasted there a week before I left for lunch and never returned.

What sucks even more is eating Pizza Hut pizza

It wasn't that bad in high school .i could eat anything and it didn't effect the quality of my gut function or weight. It was a nice little gig for showing up to a party after people were already drinking . One of my buddies would order a big foot pizza and not pick it up , more then likely the boss would let me have it when my shift was done .

Never had a bad job, on paper the worst job I had was when I was in the service and about to get out I did nothing and was bored so I got a job at tractor supply. My boss loved me and I could do whatever I wanted. Quickly got promoted to lawn mower out together guy and worked in a air conditioned tent out back. Made crappy money but it gave me something to do and I got screaming deals on 2 gun safes that got dented when I was unloading them.

My first job at 16 was a door to door vacuum salesman. I got the crappy route of course being new. I was trying to sell $1000 dollar vacuums to houses with hardly any carpet who had a 1976 pinto for a car.
