Little help- Drain flies

YES! You need to S.O.S. (seek out the source). There could be a leaky pipe (or similar situation) that created an area for them to breed in and thrive. Once you find the source, a labeled insecticide for that site will work. After that, I'd recommend getting a "good" bacteria containing drain cleaner. I use a product called Drain Gel, and apply it to all drains monthly. It can be found at DIY pest control online stores.

If you don't have access to treat, you will likely continue to have issues. You may have to do a little de-construction to get it done.

I would have just clicked “like” but I DO NOT LIKE that suggestion even though i like your effort to simply reply and are probably right. $hit!

Thanks all. There is a French Drain that was installed to prevent the basement from flooding. That’s probably where the moisture is remaining - problem is there no access to that area. Sux
