A day where I learned something new, did not know the was huntable Elk in New Hampshire as recent as the 1940s.

Joe Wheat and a Red wolf he took with his dogs near Frost, La -Livingston Parish. The photo was taken at Newton Starns store in Frost. The wolf was taken on a community hunt to rid the area of this animal which had killed local farmers live stock.  Circa 1929
