Robhuntandfish
Guess this is becoming an issue this summer. https://articles.newyorkupstate.com/outdoors/2018/07/upstate_ny_black_bear_nuisance_complaints_rising_due_to_drought_dry_conditions.amp
landtracdeerhunter
I would say the whole state is having a problem. Thanks for posting.
stubborn1VT
We have very few bears where I grew up. I went home Sunday and my mother was telling me she saw a small bear trying to chase deer last week. The deer were confused. Poor bugger must have been hungry. Steve D
I can't speak for the rest of the state but it is not uncommon for bears to hit the Limekiln campground. Since they closed the inlet dump the bear in that area seemed to start hitting the campground more frequently and if you enter the plains area there are bear warnings at the entrance which is a stones throw from Limekiln Lake.
