I was just in mine the other day and some doe were in my field, i started to judge distance and think of holdover for a shot...maybe it will happen this year.

All that steam can't be good for the wood stock.  I would stick with a black gun or at least synthetic stock for that stand!

You guys laugh, but I know of a guy that actually does this. He takes at least 1 deer a season right from his hot tub.

Hey, if I had a hot tub in a spot where it could be done, I would do it too.

my dad has that same setup. he's never done it but typically the deer keep more distance during the season.  also i've thought about shooting one right off my back deck.  problem is hunters toeing the property line stir deer up too much they don't come out at the same spot during regular rifle season.

my favorite part of the pic is that he made sure he was wearing a blaze orange hat.  Dude prob doesnt have shorts on but hes got a blaze orange hat for safety.  lol
