I have a pair of Schnee’s Extremes. They have held up well; thinking I got these in November 2014 so four hunting seasons on them.
They are fairly warm for stand hunting but I still need toe warmers for the longer sits in cold weather.
Traction can’t be beat with these.......

Badass. Are they real heavy?

Thanks.

Are you happy with it? Reviews are mixed. Some love them while others feel they are too loosely woven and offer little protection in wind. Seem to be a few production issues as well.

Do you feel a little Robin Hoody while wearing it?

I like it so far. Warm but not bulky. If I can shoot like Robin Hood that'd be OK but I don't feel like him wearing it.

Look at it this way, heavy boots forces one to walk slower and be a better still hunter......

Or look at it from my prospective: it buys me more time in the saddle as killing them from the truck/gin mill/greasy spoon/couch isn't as productive. :)
