Cross wind shooting

Theoretically the wind pushes the vanes and causes the arrow to move towards the direction from which the wind is blowing.  in other words, the arrow moves more into the wind which seems counterintuitive.  How much really requires some testing but I have never noticed much of a difference at reasonably close hunting ranges.

At less than 30 yards, I've never seen my arrows affected too much at all by the wind. Unless it's gusting gail force.  If it's blowing hard enough to affect arrow flight, probably don't want to be in a tree anyways.

lol - I know I have sat some windy days where I was more concerned that I couldn't get a good shot due to the tree moving or a nearby tree falling on me.  Effect on the arrow was not part of the thought process.
