It's depressing to see things like this all the time, to actually see deer almost daily, then go north to hunt and see so little. Of course these deer are accustomed to seeing people and not really wild.

The ticking time bomb on LI is Nassau County. There is a growing population of deer, particularly along the north shore, from oyster bay to great neck. There not going away and only cars are reducing their numbers. Interesting to see how this plays out in the coming years. These are 2 examples.
