just over a month ago i bought us a new house that's over triple the size of the small one we were in, which was our first. she's into particular style of Rae Dunn dishes and what not. got her some of that and a few odds and ends stuff that's harder to find for the house.

Told my wife no gifts but got her a panini maker, perfume and cash.   She wanted them.   Not sure why cash as we have one account anyways and she buys what she wants within reason but whatever.

That way you can't track it when she buys my gift!

We think alike on this lol

I put in 400 square feet of tile in our kitchen and dining room this year.  The whole project took 8 weekends... all I want to do is WALK on it, not clean.

Married for 40 years next summer and we still buy a pile of presents for each other for Christmas. But after such a long time, my imagination is used up. Ta-daa, Amazon wish lists to the rescue! I finished my Christmas shopping weeks ago.
I did give her an early gift on the rifle opener. I was admiring Biz's and somebody else's muffs last year, so I bought her a new muff. She hasn't had a muff in forever. Her new muff really keeps the hands warm!

Hahah ur wife doesn’t have a muff? I guess you’re one of those progressive types.... it’s ok pal we support your lifestyle choice

If the taxidermist can fix that fox, Id like his number. Looks like theres a huge chunk missing from its front shoulder.
That's like taking a shark attack victim that was cut in half and then putting them back together and expecting them to look normal

I see that there are lots of victims of commercialism here.  Christmas need not be all about spending ridiculous amounts of money on each other.  My Christmas gift to my wife is to wish her lots of health and happiness and that's all I want in return.  The things we really need we can buy anytime of the year.

you can get your wife a little something, even if it's practical or something not practical that is cheap but fun without breaking the bank. It's really not that big a deal.
