My brother in law is a pretty hard deer hunter. He hunts bow, gun, and muzzleloader. He even shot one with a x-bow this year. He hunts every weekend rain or shine along with the high winds. He hasn't seen a deer in a couple of weeks worth shooting. So today he pulls into work and right next to his parking spot he see this.

That’s why nonhunters assume it’s a piece of cake to kill deer.  “Stop over, they are always in my backyard.”   That’s hunting.

I've seen more deer when driving to or from my hunting spots than I've ever seen while sitting in a stand. It's almost a given.

Sounds like what's been happening with me! LOL I haven't seen any deer in the last few hunts. Tonight, I saw 8 deer standing ~300 yards across the road from where I park, on private property. Just had to laugh.... and mumble under my breath!

Same with me. I was driving across a hay field with my UTV Saturday to get to my blind-saw a 6 point buck in the field at 6:15am. Hunted the entire day and didn't see another deer!
