DRC is great, I was right down the street. Sulphers were for sure the key. I really hope I can catch the drakes or at least the coffins

Had the morn off so went out for a bit on Oneida. Lake was wavy already at 5:30 and that's always a bad sign.  So fished the canal. Had good morn.  Limit of eyes, 33 " northern, a couple of smallies.  Lost one other eye right at the net and had a good walleye or a northern on that broke me off.  Good morning out for sure.

Fished out on Keuka today with some top notch guys.  TCIII and his crew, Lawdwaz and Pygmy.  Got the honor to fish in the Pygmy boat and that guy is no joke when it comes to fishing. Not kidding he had one on his first cast. Great day on the water with some great guys.  Was very cool to meet them , all guys I would share the water or a beer with anytime.  And they put on a hell of a fish fry to boot.

Thanks for the invite guys! next time no need for the art festival but it was a nice touch.  Maybe when Moog is in town again!  Lol.

Last one was 16” which is about as big as they get I assume in that water. 6 to the net with three more dropped after hook up.

All crushing tan caddis 16.

Large white (like ghost white)mayfly on the water sporadically too - not sure I ever saw one of those before hence I don’t know what to call it!

They were much smaller(14-16) than the coffin flies I’ve seen on the BK but that was my first thought too

Dont know about croton as I have never fished it . But the kid said they were seeing coffen flies last night . He said they were big white 747 size flies. he got a couple of fish on the white wulffs I tied for him . As usual the green drakes appear  to be hatching after dark  for the most part. I'm betting your seeing pale evening duns  or dorathea.

Rob is better than I am...Faster and wastes less meat..

I have only seen one guy that can match him, and he is a panfish fanatic who filets 100os of fish in a year...

Went out on Oneida this am.  Was bit rough and buddy wanted to fish canal so we junked fished the canal.  Caught smallies , largemouth, pickerel, northern, and one walleye.  The biggest I've gotten out of Oneida. 25+ inches.  Fun on a stickbait and 6lb test.  Had another big one come up to the boat but he didn't take. Good day on the water.

I thought it was one of my local fishing buddies, but that was before I saw your "work"....

You're pretty adept at  ribbing them, though... Everybody does SOMETHING well...Hehehe...

He did fine ....none of the blood was his or ours so that's a win!

It was fun!  A good mess of fish didn't see sunset........

Nice to meet you also Rob and thanks for bringing the sausage & cheese, they're going to be my cocktail hour snack for the next few days.

BTW, I can filet much better than I showed yesterday but I was sandbagging, no need to take the limelight from you & Dan.  :)

Rob..Thanks for the sixpack of craft beer ( ale)...

When I got home, first I unloaded the truck &boat, then I took a two hour NAP, then I mowed the lawn, and right now I'm kicked back enjoying a Good Natured Blonde....Life is GOOD...<<sigh>>….

Oh.. I almost forgot..Thanks again to Larry for bringing the bottle of Crown...Some people think those fishing trips are all fun and games, but it's not EASY drinking as much beer and whiskey as I drank yesterday afternoon  !!
