Should be much much better in the morning.  We are on hold here until some of this rain actually stops, want us to keep some of the snow/slush on the road so people can get some kind of traction.

Yes they have.I'm just waiting to see what March will be like hopefully not like March of 1996 and we got our asses dumped on.

Just got back from hospital wife slipped in a parking lot and fell on her arm and shoulder. Dr said no broken bones ice 20 minutes  20 off. Ibuprofen.

I have been watching our local deer struggling with the ice-layer here. It supports their weight for a second and then breaks through. It looks like travel is quite an ordeal for them and uses a fair amount of energy. Hopefully they will continue to be able to avoid the coyotes because they seem to be fully supported on the ice and do not break through (according to tracks). This is probably one of the most dangerous conditions that the deer can encounter.

Wife is off work for next couple days... arm in a sling and grumpy.... she is working on a honey do list !
