Dick’s stops selling guns at 125 stores

Makes no difference to me how many stores are open or closed, I still won't spend a penny there!  Even if they have a "SALE"!!

Since they decided to join the gun control lobby, I decided they didn't want my business.

“Our data show that a lot of hunters and gun enthusiasts have migrated to retailers like Bass Pro and to smaller specialists,” he wrote in a note. “At the same time, Dick’s Sporting Goods has not benefited from an upswing in trade among those who agree with its gun policy.”

Growth among athletes puts the retailer in competition with an increasing number of chains that are courting the same customer.

Shouldn't bite the hand that feeds you.

I hope the corporate  scum that made the decisions  to alienate their customer base end up out in the street on their ass with no golden parachute..

I know alot  of people that work for dicks /field and stream . Those people can't believe the decisions  being made. Some have left but others are stuck  trying to pay bill's and take care of there family.

I dont shop there anymore. I have ordered from bps and cabelas. I shop when I can from lgs. Availability  of some stuff is pretty slim at times but I wont walk through those doors again.

Ever since Dick's went all gun control stupid I would not shop there for anything.  I still get coupons from them, but just rip them up and file them with the recyclables!  In reality there are so many other places to shop, plus internet shopping can yield some better discounts.

The other day I was in a Walmart and happen to pass by sporting goods.  I thought they stopped selling firearms, but there was a large display of firearms.   Maybe I did not notice it before or Walmart is cashing in on Dick's dumb move.

That is just sad. I live in the Southern Tier and remember when Dicks in Binghamton and Vestal-when they just had the 2 stores-were some of the best places to buy guns. Big enough to have a selection, small enough to give service. I bought and traded numerous guns there.
