pulled the trigger on the Ford Ranger last week. Picked it up today. All the technology and things I can do from app on my phone are mind blowing.

That’s a high toss tho. Probably easier dragging it up a slab of wood as a ramp if alone.

Ya , 44 years of bringing  deer home in cars and mini vans before I bought a truck ( mostly to tow with )  lifting deer into the bed  is harder .  I don’t see much of any advantage, of a p/u for hunting .

its mostly some perceived image thing .

enjoy your truck .

Invest $25 or so in a block-and-tackle rig. With a good anchor point you could put a moose in the back of a pick-up truck all by yourself. It took me a couple of years to figure that out. ;-) Free advice.

BTW, I currently own your truck's great-grandfather. A 2000 Ranger. Congrats on the new wheels, Biz.

Kinda like growing a penis

Not really compared to the corvette and mustang I had years ago. This is like driving molasses even with the 270HP turbocharged engine. But wife is happy I got something bigger so I don’t have to use the CRV she drives for fishing/hunting anymore. She hates spiders! And is convinced hunting/fishing stuff brings them into her car
