Think there is going to be a early rut this year?

I should be good for my bow hunt in the rut this year.  The guys I hunt with took the first 3 weeks of november off.  I do not have that tine. So I put in my vacation as sometime early november.  When I get the call that they are running. I am going.

For what it is worth I think the chase phase of the rut (most seem to really miss that point of there being four defined aspects to the "rut") being hard to hunt but easy to see deer....I am much more excited abotu the Oct SZ opener headed our way to help cushion the blow of crossbows raping archery season
