I tried to but every time we stopped he disappeared from my sight. Verde 2.0 for the win.

The real question is what has he been wearing for the last couple months since you haven't seen him ? If it took you months to see him I assume thats a fantastic camo pattern

 Yes, not answering texts is the best camo of all. 

I went out with the Kuiu this morning - thermal base, fleece and Kutana jacket at mid 40s and it was surprisingly comfortable. Little chilly when I sat for 45 minutes, but great when I moved. Like this stuff more and more.

Pants with fleece base layer did pretty well today.  Little chilly in the AM, but I realized I had the vent zippers open.  

Ultra down pants being delivered on Saturday, day after I'm gonna REALLY want them.

Pretty good field trial today as it’s alternating rain an snow, I’m loving it so far.I’ve got three layers underneath an I don’t feel bulky or restricted at all

I used it pretty hard last weekend and I have to admit I'm pretty impressed.

The attention to detail is great and the warmth is surprisingly good even when I only had few layers under the Kutana jacket. 

Hate to be a fanboi, but I think I'll invest in more. 

For those interested, try and get a catalogue as it makes it easy to compare one item to another. The website can be a bitch to navigate.

i looking for a new set myself I presently am in a Core4 set but they are no more and its had a hard 4 seasons or so. I have been searching a lot and I am really leaning towards First Light.

I have a mish mosh of truly crappy base layers, its time to address that. Most reviews I see on the UA is that its fine for moving around but I will get cold in a stand. I need something warm that wicks really well

I'd agree with that sentiment.  UA wicks like a boss but after an hour of still Ness you're cold.  My Cabela's fleece base layer is really hard to get into the stand without getting a mild sweat, but stays pretty warm.  If it's butt cold, say sub-20, it's not an issue as long you don't over exert.

 

Been looking at KUIU pelaton 145 stuff, just tapped out on the hunting budget for this year right now.

I looked for the Patagonia locally, didn't find.  Will do some more googling in a bit.

I do like the Smartwool 250 base layer I just picked up from Sierra.

And I have to admit, I look great in it so there's a few extra degrees of hotness right there.

That's what I bought, but I paid less. There's usually a code kicking around.

If it helps, I bought L and it fits my 6' 185 well with just a little room. I could fit into a M and maybe tighter is better when it comes to wicking, but I'm happy. Grabbed the bottoms as well.

I just tried on the smartwool 250 bae layers at EMS, they're nice.  100$ a piece seems a bit jacked up though.  Not that EMS is known for that or anything.

Actually I searched more and found Terramar merino wool and I believe it’s the exact same shirt but $20 cheaper. It’s on its way
