How many of your applied and got your DMP's last year?

Just curious, How many of your applied and got your DMP's last year?

I received 1, used the same WMU for both requests.

Applying in 8N is almost a guaranteed two-permits. I have been getting the maximum number just about every year for a long time now.

I didnt apply, I had no intention to take a doe. I usually have my father and uncle apply in case they wanted to take a doe, however they elected to pass on does as well.

I apply every year and was knocked down last year for  first choice 4g and second choice 4r .

hopefully this year i can get one.

I have had 4 DMPs every year for the last 3 years. One year I tagged out, the second year I used half of them and last year I had a tag sandwich.

Yep. 5 if you include the either sex tag. I got less deer each year due to the deer changing their patterns either caused by them figuring out my stand being there equals certain death, or my neighbors have caught on and put more pressure on them. Its probably a combo. Im not hunting that stand this year, time to adjust and I have the perfect setup in mind. I plan on filling a few tags this year lol.

Yes some areas offer bonus DMP's when it gets closer to season.

Plus you can get 2 signed over.

Got 2 for 7J last year.

I just looked @ 3H where my new property is, looks like its Preference Points required   Prob wont get one this year then?

john its lottery also you can have zero preference points and still get one.  Apply as early as possible and if you dont get one,  you can still probably get one in the mail as an extra cause not enough people got one.  If you dont pay to apply, you dont get any points for the following year.  If you dont get it one year you will get it the next.

True, I thought it was preference points required, regardless of the lottery thing.  But like you said next year is a possibility if you get denied and also there is bow season

I hunt in 3m and I got 2 dmp when I got my buck tag and also got two more the 1st of November. I used them all up and got one signed over from my fathers. It was a good year for my 7 deer in total.

I got them last year but didn't fill the DMPs . Only got a shot at one deer and put that one in the freezer .

I applied and got one as a land owner for 6R

I had three preference points last year. In my area 6a they have cut down the permits. Anyway with 3 points I got denied, so I now have 4 points.  Second week of regualr season, I had a permit mailed ot me in a second chance thing wth the permits left over. I still have in in my packet along with my regular tag, muzzle/archery tags and all the others.  I never saw a deer after the opening weekend of regular season.

I got one last year and one the year before. I know a few guys who got two, here in 9Y. But most everybody gets just one.

I had 4 last season and didn't fill them ............Last year was my worst season in a long time .
